Canoe and Kayak Rentals / Tours – Series Pass

The launch fee must be added to every ticket purchase, whether you rent one canoe or all six of our vessels. It rents the first canoe (or two kayaks) and compensates Riverboat Roger for his time getting you into the water with all the right gear and information and for providing limited emergency assistance.

This pass is good for one additional adult (13 and over). Coordinate time, date, and number of boaters with Riverboat Roger. This pass is valid for any open slot on his schedule.

Children under 13 must wear a life vest while boating. This pass is good for one child (12 and under). Coordinate time, date, and number of boaters with Riverboat Roger. This pass is valid for any open slot on his schedule.

Purchase this option if you would like Riverboat Roger to accompany you on your boat trip. He will help paddle the canoe or take a kayak and help with overnight camp selection/setup. He will add a layer of safety and knowledge of the local area. He is ridiculously funny. He is humble to a fault, and he is an amazing person overall. Yes, he is me, Riverboat Roger. I have to charge this fee because my wife doesn't like me leaving her to do all the ranch chores. So, please take me with you. I'd do it for free but... I must make up, to my wife, for my absence. I can stay out for 2 hours, but if you feed me a sandwich I can stretch that to 2.5 hours. Coordinate time and date with Riverboat Roger. This pass is valid for any two hour open slot on my water log.

The state of Illinois allows camping on the islands for no cost. If you rent the boats for the afternoon of day one and return by 1 pm the following day you will only pay one launch fee but you will need to purchase overnight passes for each person keeping the boats overnight (same price for adults and kids). You must return the boats to the boat launch site by 1 pm on the second day. If you would like Riverboat Roger to assist with your camp selection and setup - purchase a tour guide ticket. If you want him to assist with camp teardown -purchase another tour guide ticket and he will meet you at the campsite in the morning to assist.
