Launch Fee (Required)
The launch fee is added to every boat launch, whether you rent one canoe or all six of our vessels. It compensates Riverboat Roger for his time getting you into the water with all the right gear and information. Please select one launch fee.

We have capacity for 12 people in two canoes and four kayaks. Each ticket is for one person. Max personal weight is 275 lbs.

Tour Guide
Purchase this option if you would like Riverboat Roger to accompany you on the trip. He will help paddle the canoe or take a kayak, whichever you prefer. He will add a layer of safety and knowledge of the local area. He is ridiculously funny. He is humble to a fault, and he is an amazing person overall. Yes, he is me. I have to charge this fee because my wife doesn't like me leaving her to do all the ranch chores. So, please take me with you. I'd do it for free but... I must make up, to my wife, for my absence. I can stay out for 2 hours, but if you feed me a sandwich I can stretch that to 2.5 hours.

Overnight Camping Fee
The state of Illinois allows camping on the islands for no cost. If you rent the boats for the afternoon of one day and return by 1 pm the following day you will only pay one launch fee and you will need two tickets for each person (one for the afternoon of day 1 and one for the morning of day 2). If you have questions, feel free to call Riverboat Roger and he can explain. 608-331-0000. We have some camping gear you can rent to you but we prefer to stay out of the camping gear rental business. It is best if you bring your own.
